Awards Day 2010

Our annual Student Awards Ceremony was held on Friday May 28 th. This is an opportunity for the school community to celebrate the commitment and
involvement of students over a wide range of activities which are part of school life. Academic, Sporting and Cultural activities are all celebrated. It is a high
note to end our school term for the whole school community and congratulations to all those who received awards.

SPORTS DAY May 2010
Sports Day for all non exam classes was held in St. Mary’s College Sportsgrounds. Students showed their various skills in the many competitions.. The highlight of the afternoon was a Soccer Game between Staff and Senior Students. The Final Score was 5 – 1 in favour of the Staff!
Organised By : Mr Campbell, Roisin Cribbin, Leanne Flanagan, Michelle Connor, Tara Fitzmaurice, Emma Hester, Gillian Higgins, with help from all 5 th year girls. Many thanks to all who participated and organised the event.

Leaving Cert. Graduation 2010

The Leaving Cert. Class of 2010 will be graduating on May 14th 2010. All parents and staff are welcome to attend this ceremony in St Josephs Church at 4pm, followed by refreshments in the school afterwards

Fundraising for the Presentation Pakistan Mission 2010

Congratulations to Jackie Fox DCU Student of the Year 2009

Careers Fair January 2010 Our annual Careers and CAO Fair was held in the school on Friday, 15th January. Past pupils who are studying a wide range of 3rd level courses throughout Ireland were in attendance in order to assist our Leaving Certificate Students make final choices for CAO application and to help our 5th year students with Career Research.  Our thanks to the LCVP class who assisted in the organisation of this years event, to Ms Mc Mullen our LCVP co-ordinator. Presentation Day, November 2009
Presentation Day celebrations began a day early in Presentation Secondary School Galway on Friday Nov 20 th. The celebrations began with a Mass in St. Joseph’s Church for our School community of students, teachers, sisters from Presentation Convent, Parents together with pupils and teachers from Presentation Primary Schools, Newcastle Road and Shantalla. joined in the celebrations with the secondary school 'family'
