Fundraising for the Presentation Pakistan Mission 2010 |
Students recently raised €700 for our sisters in Pakistan whose mission began in 1895 in Rawalpindi.

Careers Fair January 2010
Our annual Careers and CAO Fair was held in the school on Friday, 15th January. Past pupils who are studying a wide range of 3rd level courses throughout Ireland were in attendance in order to assist our Leaving Certificate Students make final choices for CAO application and to help our 5th year students with Career Research.
Our thanks to the LCVP class who assisted in the organisation of this years event, to Ms Mc Mullen our LCVP co-ordinator.
A special word of thanks to all our past pupils who took the time to travel and attend the Fair.

Christmas 2009
Students and staff of our school presented Fr. Martin Downey, PP, St. Joseph's, with cheque for €3000 towards the installation of the new Childrens' Stained Glass Window in honour of Jamie Stone and all deceased Children of the Parish
Our Annual School Carol Service was held on Monday Dec 21 in St. Joseph's Church. The Spirit of Christmas was set by the singing of Carols and various readings. Hampers collected by each Year group were presented by the school to St. Vincent De Paul. Many thanks to all who assisted in the organisation of the ceremony.

Christmas 2009 Variety Performance Programme Click on Tree
On Tuesday Dec 15th our students performed in our annual Christmas Show. Our lunchtime activity groups which are led and directed by senior students got an opportunity to showcase their talent. Lunchtime groups such as Dance, Drama & Singing practise weekly and there are auditions in early December for the stage performance. This Show highlights the wonderful talent in our school and many thanks to all who helped organise the production. |

Presentation Day, November 2009
Presentation Day celebrations began a day early in Presentation Secondary School Galway on Friday Nov 20 th. The celebrations began with a Mass in St. Joseph’s Church for our School community of students, teachers, sisters from Presentation Convent, Parents together with pupils and teachers from Presentation Primary Schools, Newcastle Road and Shantalla. joined in the celebrations with the secondary school 'family'

CSPE Cake Sale November 2009
A substantial sum of money was raised by Form 3 with their cake sale. Proceeds of the sale are being donated to the Galway Branch of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
